Mariane Spearman, J.D.

King County Superior Court Judge (2008-2018)

Judge Mariane Spearman received a B.A. in psychology from Rutgers University in 1981 and her juris doctorate from the University of Washington in 1984.

She was elected to the King County Superior Court in 2008, and it was in this capacity that she ruled on behalf of SURF Incubator, LLC. She retired from the court in March 2018 fewer than six months after her decision not to hear my case.

In the 2016 General Election Voters' Guide she was listed as

a fair, compassionate and hard-working judge with over 20 years of judicial experience serving the citizens of King County

I strongly disagree, for I have witnessed her first hand in a very different light. We should be thankful that she has retired.
