January 1st in the Year of the Dog (1994)

I returned to the Tenzan Outdoor Hotspring in the summer of 2012 on my way from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Seattle, Washington, and eventually Tampa, Florida. Although I did not recognize the staff, the facility itself had changed very little. I sat in the same pool where I first sat in a Japanese hotspring two decades prior.
