Translator's and Proofreader's Pledge
a rewarding
work experience | work relationship (fidelity)
I solemnly pledge not to knowingly
accept or solicit work from an author-client for whom I have
already performed service under EARTH contract without first
obtaining EARTH's consent.
I also promise not to pursue
through other translation agencies, brokers, and/or freelance
translators work arrangements that would allow me to circumvent
this pledge.
In the event that I fail to
honor this pledge EARTH has my permission to make public my abuse
of EARTH's good services and/or pursue damages through appropriate
legal channels.
