Distribution of all households, households with a computer, and households with a computer connected to the internet by level of income (Line Graph)
Note: The relatively high participation rate among households in the HK$10,000 - 19,999 income bracket is most likely exaggerated by young families with well-educated household heads, whose expected life-time monthly earnings can be expected to be much higher as they grow older.

Note 1: The under HK$10,000 monthly income bracket containes nearly 1/3 of all Hong Kong households (right graph). As a proportion of all households with a personal computer this group accounts for just over 15% (left graph). All other income groups are over-represented,  some are more over-represented than others.
Note 2: "Personal computers refers to a computer designed for individual use. Personal computers includes desktop computer, laptop/notebook computer and Personal Digital Assistant.
